ADMISSION:

VA Pridefest 2022, presented by Virginia Lottery, is a FREE event. Food, drink and merchandise are available for sale.

LOCATION:

VA Pridefest 2022, presented by Virginia Lottery, will be held at Brown’s Island in Richmond, VA.

DOGS:

While pets are allowed on the island, we expect very large crowds as well as warm weather, with no access to water bowls. Please be mindful of your furry friend.

FAQ: WHAT CAN’T I BRING WITH ME? Items that are not permitted include, but are not limited to:

• Coolers, Large Backpacks

• Alcohol

• Bottles/glass containers

• Contraband (drugs and weapons)

• Laser pointers

• Bikes, skateboards, inline skates

• Flying objects (drones, kites, Frisbees, footballs, etc.)

WATER BOTTLE & COOLER POLICY:

• Attendees will be allowed to bring one sealed (unopened) bottle of water onto the island or one refillable container

• No coolers

• Bags and refillable containers are subject to search

• Water and other drinks are available for purchase from vendors on the island

LYFT DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP:

The easiest place to be dropped off for VA Pridefest 2022, presented by Virginia Lottery, is conveniently located at 320 S. 7th Street.

FREE HANDICAP PARKING:

Handicap parking for VA Pridefest 2022, presented by Virginia Lottery, is available in the Federal Reserve Parking Deck located on the corner of 5th and Byrd Streets. There will not be onsite transportation available between the various stages.

IN THE EVENT OF RAIN:

VA Pridefest 2022, presented by Virginia Lottery, will go on, rain or shine.

EMERGENCY SERVICES/FIRST AID:

Emergency service will be available at VA Pridefest 2022, presented by Virginia Lottery, behind the ticket booths. Also in the case of an emergency, you can find a volunteer who can radio for help.

RESTROOMS:

Portable restrooms will be located throughout the festival grounds.

LOST PEOPLE:

If a child or person in your party gets lost please approach a volunteer immediately. Volunteers will have access to persons with radios, who can get you help right away.

YOUR PRESENCE IS YOUR PERMISSION:

Special photographers and videographers have been hired by festival organizers to document the event. Some images may be used in later promotional materials. Your presence at the event is seen as your permission for such promotional use by the non-profit organizers.
